Teen Poetry Contest

Dates: April 1-30

April is National Poetry Month and to celebrate, Pendleton County Public Library is having a Teen Poetry Contest!!  The contest is open to anyone who lives in Pendleton County or is a student of the Pendleton County School system in grades 6 through 12.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.  Teens are invited to submit one entry of no more than 50 lines in length.  Submissions are welcome from April 1st through April 30th.  Winners will be announced in May.

LEGO Night

Join us as we build our most imaginative ideas! All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Knit Night

Next Dates: Wednesday, April 22
Time: 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Monica Yeamans is here at the Library each month to host Knit Night. Whether you are a beginner or highly practiced, Monica will be on-hand for assistance and ideas. Bring your own needles and skein to participate.

Date: Saturday, April 25
Time: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Mr. Terry Cummins and Ms. Anne Caudill will join us to discuss their collaborative book The Caudills of the Cumberlands: Anne’s Story of Life With Harry.

Crochet Corner

Next Date: Tuesday, April 28
Upcoming Dates: May 12 & 26
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Led by Billie Conrad, this class will work on projects and crochet techniques!

Don't miss our monthly Crochet Corner with Ms. Conrad. If you're a first-time beginner or a seasoned artisan, Ms. Conrad will be on-hand to assist with techniques and ideas. Bring your own materials to participate.
