Services

The Pendleton County Public Library offers you many services that you may not be aware of.

Outreach Vehicle: The Purpose of the Outreach Vehicle is to make the library more accessible to the residents of Pendleton County who find it difficult or impossible to travel to the library.  Patrons who are unable to visit the library, for any reason, can have library materials delivered to their homes. This includes books, CDs, DVDs, Non-Traditional items, and more!  To set up a Porch Delivery, call the library at 859-654-8535 or go to https://pcplibrary.org/bookmobile-2/ to complete the request form.  This service is available to all those living in Pendleton County who have a PCPL Library Card.

Document Shredding: Document shredding is done by a Kentucky company called DocuBit.  The company was founded in 2006 and is proud to still be locally owned and operated in Central Kentucky.  Over the last 15+ years, DocuBit has serviced companies throughout the state of Kentucky, and continue to grow every day.  The employees are professional and are dedicated to the security of your documents.  DocuBit is AAA NAID certified and HIPPA compliant shredding service.  They pick up every 4 weeks and transfer the documents from the locked cabinets in the library to locked carts.  These carts are then transported back to their facility where they are shredded.
